Meridian Waste Solutions Inc., of Bridgeton, Mo. has acquired Environmental Trash Co., of St. Ann, Mo.
Meridian will now provide waste and recycling services to about 2,000 commercial and residential subscription customers in St. Louis and St. Charles Counties from the company’s existing Bridgeton location.
“We wish to welcome the ETC customers and employees to the Meridian Waste family,” said Scott Bradshaw, area vice president for Meridian Waste. “While the name of the company will change to Meridian Waste, the core group of drivers, helpers, dispatchers and customer care staff are still committed to keeping your streets and businesses clean.”
NASDAQ listed Meridian Waste Solutions is focused on residential and commercial waste collection and disposal. Currently, the company operates in St. Louis and Richmond, Va., servicing more than 130,000 residential, commercial, industrial and governmental customers. In addition to a fleet of commercial, residential and roll off trucks, the company operates three transfer stations, one recycling facility and three municipal solid waste landfills.
